The "Jupiter Analogue" expansion pack contains several components, each pursuing its own product idea, which together result in a high-quality, comprehensive expansion.

First and foremost are the samples and the Expansion Voices, which form the basis of the expansion. The 128 Normal Voices are based exclusively on the multisamples of the legendary Jupiter-8 synthesizer, often consisting of complete patches that clearly showcase the special filter characteristics and the resulting unmistakable Jupiter-8 sound. In addition, the multisamples also include unfiltered raw sounds with various oscillator configurations, detuning, and the use of special features such as PWM, LFO, cross-modulation, sync, and more. A particular focus during the sampling process was the recreation of the Jupiter-8's popular Stereo Unison Mode, which is used in a large portion of the Expansion Voices.

The Expansion Styles and their One Touch Settings (OTS) largely utilize the Expansion Voices from this pack. Some styles incorporate elements from Preset Styles or Expansion Styles of previous EASY SOUNDS Expansion Packs. However, the corresponding OTS settings contain only Expansion Voices from this product. Stylistically, the styles fall into the categories of Synth Pop, Dance, Ballads, Ambient & Electronic.

Each Registration Bank contains six registrations. The empty slots in each bank can be used for your own creations. The first seven Registration Banks are primarily designed as an OTS (Over-the-Shoes) alternative to matching Preset Styles or Expansion Styles. The remaining registrations are designed for using the Expansion Voices independently of Styles and Multi Pads as broad live and studio sounds, often emulating the Dual Mode of the Jupiter-8 using Parts R1 and R2.

The largely reharmonizable Multi Pads are a particular highlight of the expansion. The Multi Pad Banks of the "MIX-Type" group can be used together with Voice Registrations as "Mini Styles." In combination with Registrations and existing Styles, they create sound results that convey the feel of entirely new styles. The Drum Multi Pads control the Expansion Drum Kits. It is astonishing and spectacular how drastically, for example, Dance or Synthpop Styles can be transformed and significantly enhanced by replacing the Rhythm parts with the Multi Pads.

The "Classic Arp Series" is heavily based on the original Jupiter-8 arpeggiator. Particularly impressive are the numerous dual arpeggios, in which two channels with the same arpeggio control different voices. When laid out in stereo, this results in an impressive, wide, and room-filling vintage sound.
