„Mystic Spheres“ includes about 74 MB new user waveforms.
Opposite to many other sample-based synth banks this library does not contain completely sampled presets of popular synths. Instead there are complex waveforms compareable with preset waves, which are a great base for making new synth sounds using the sound engine of MONTAGE.
„Mystic Spheres“ includes also the programming of special Features like Assignable Functions („XA-Mode“), new arpeggio types, new effect types and new synth waveforms. Totally 50 of 128 Performances are a new type of „Xpanded Articlulation Synth Performances“. They are labelled with „AF1&2“ at the end of the Performance names. These Performances provide a maximum of sound flexibility. Using the Assignable Functions (AF1 + AF2) additional two alternate element-combinations can be called up in addition to the basic sound. Switching between sounds this way will not happen abruptly because the release of the elements is fading out when switching AF1 or AF2. Furthermore each Xpanded Articlulation Synth Performance includes an assignment of 5 Control Arps (ARP 1 – 5), which trigger modulations of amp, filter, pitch or MIDI Gates. And of course you can use also standard modulation sources like Modulation Wheel, Pitch Bend, Ribbon Control, Slider and Knobs.
